Just wanted to make a quick announcement that I have updated the Grade Book on Moodle.
Things are now weighed as they will be in the final grade, so you might see some changes in your grade, but do not fret.
Here is the new breakdown:
Class Attendance and Participation is weighted for 20%.
- This is 1% for Writing Workshops 1, 2, 3, and 4, plus Argument Part 1 and 2 for 6% total and an additional 14% for class discussions and participation.
Report 1, 2, and 3 is weighted for 30%.
- That is 10% per each for a total of 30%. Remember that you will have final versions of these to turn in to improve those grades for the final grade in the course.
Peer Review and Rough Draft (listed under the Rough Draft of Your Research Paper) is weighted for 20%
- That means your Peer Review (participation) is worth 10% and submitting a Rough Draft another 10%.
Final Draft of Your Research Paper is weighted for 30%.
- This is what we have been aiming for, so it carries a good bit of the course weight.
