This coming SUNDAY, JUNE 21, you need to have ready for submission SOME version of your Research Paper to submit for PEER REVIEW on MOODLE.

PEER REVIEW of YOUR RESEARCH PAPER – SUNDAY, JUNE 21 – TUESDAY, JUNE 23 on MOODLE

• There will be a SEPARATE post provided to give you specific guidance on what you should be looking for when commenting and giving each other feedback on papers.

• Forum will appear in WEEK 6 section.

ROUGH DRAFT SUBMISSION – WEDNESDAY, JUNE 24 by 11:59 PM on MOODLE

• There will be an assignment link in WEEK 6 section dedicated to submission.

• I will look and review each paper submitted for feedback and return them by Thursday night (June 25th) via email.

FINAL DRAFT SUBMISSION – FRIDAY, JUNE 26 by 11:59 PM on MOODLE

• There will be an assignment link in Week 6 section dedicated to submission.

• Final grades will be compiled and turned in soon after.

Updated gradebook will also be weighted and available by Wednesday, June 24 as well.

If you want to reduce the basic structure to creating an argument, you could reduce it to this structure:

Topic Sentence

Statement / Claim

Evidence / Example

(Citation of Evidence, whether summarized or quoted)

Explanation / Transition

From this basic structure you can set up, integrate research information, and explain it, connecting it back to your thesis statement.

This process allows you to BUILD around information you are using to support your thesis (argument) while making sure it is crystal clear to your audience and at the same time extending the length of your paper.
