This Wednesday (Oct. 25th) and Thursday (Oct. 27) Claflin University English Dept. will be hosting the “Sixteenth Claflin University Conference on Contemporary English and Language Arts Pedagogy in Secondary and Postsecondary Institutions”.
During the conference days we will not be meeting in class, with the exception of ENGL 101.05 MWF class who will meet on Wednesday in order to conduct their Peer Review of Essay 3.
Conference attendance is encouraged for all students and I will have sign up sheets for students to note their attendance for bonus points during presentations, at the keynote address, and during my own presentation on Thursday afternoon.
