Week 6: Library and Writing Workshop Part 1

Greetings Class,

Welcome to ENGL 1302 Week 6.

Beneath you will find TWO schedules. The first is for my MWF classes (PW0 and PW4) and the second TTH classes (S36 and WY4).

I will be grading and uploading comments for Report 2 today through Monday (2/22).

We will have our Library Day, look over They Say, I Say Ch. 2, and begin Writing Workshop Ch. 1

 

Monday, Wednesday, Friday Classes

Monday (2/22): Library Day (moved to Wednesday, 2/24), submit your Ch. 5 Source Exercise from Friday to Discussion Forum on Blackboard entitled: Week 6: TCOR Ch. 5 Exercise before 11:59 PM.

Wednesday (2/24): Library Day. Will discuss Ch. 5 postings on Blackboard. Discuss They Say, I Say Ch. 2. Homework assignment: Play Peter Elbow’s “Believing Game”

Friday (2/26): Meet up in Computer Lab, room A1172. We will discuss expectations of Writing Workshop 1. Remainder of day to be used to work on Writing Workshop 1 and Report 3 (due Monday, 2/29) in computer lab. Will collect “Believing Game” exercise.

 

Tuesday, Thursday Classes

Tuesday (2/23): Library Day. Turn in your TCOR Ch. 5 exercise I asked you to work on Thursday of last week.

Thursday: (2/25): Meet up in Computer Lab. Look over They Say, I Say Ch. 2. Homework assignment: Play Peter Elbow’s “Believing Game.” We will discuss expectations of Writing Workshop 1. Remainder of day to be used to work on Writing Workshop 1 and Report 3 (due Monday, 2/29) in computer lab.
