Welcome to ENGL 1302 Week 4.
Beneath you will find TWO schedules. The first is for my MWF classes (PW0 and PW4) and the second TTH classes (S36 and WY4).
Grades for Report 1 are now up on Blackboard. Please look at your grade attempt to read any potential comments.
We will be looking at The Craft of Research (TCOR) Ch. 3 and 4, as well as look at Report 2 and Research Paper Assignment sheets.
Finally, for anyone working on Graphic Novels with superheroes, particularly Superman, here is an interesting Article from The Atlantic to consider:

Monday, Wednesday, Friday Classes
Monday (2/8): Look at Report 2 Assignment sheet on our blog site. We will discuss it. Will look at and go over Ch. 3 from TCOR. We will also spend time on class working on formulating and answering, in rough form, our research question.
Read Ch. 4 of TCOR for Wednesday.
Wednesday (2/10): Continue working on Research question and answer in route to formulating working Thesis Statement. Will use TCOR Ch. 4 and discussion of it to help us in this process. We will also look at the official Research Paper Assignment Sheet.
Friday (2/12): Talk about and review Thesis Statements. Work specifically on refining and honing our working Thesis Statements for our Research Papers.
For Week 5 Read: The Craft of Research (TCOR) Ch. 5 for Monday
Tuesday, Thursday Classes
